The purpose of this video is to educate viewers on the different aspects of the Constitution and the different powers that are delegated to different branches of government. It covers topics such as the division of powers between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches, as well as the different roles that each branch plays in society.

Plato, in the dialogue Laws, argued that mixing monarchy and democracy was necessary to prevent one person from having too much power. Aristoteles, analyzing various constitutions from his time, concluded that legislating, administering, and judging are tasks that should be divided among different institutions. This led him to create the theory of the polity, in which he proposed the creation of a moderating branch of government, designated with the role of legislating. He also discussed the role of officers in the administration, and the courts. But, without a doubt, the division of powers is originally from the 18th century, with the concepts of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Montesquieu. Look, in his book, The Spirit of the Laws, Montesquieu expounds on the existence of three powers: the executive, legislative, and judicial. He argues that in each state there are three classes of power: the legislative power that creates laws, the executive power that executes and applies the law, and the judicial power that punishes crimes and oversees the differences between individuals.
