The Matrix trilogy is a set of movies about humans living in a simulated reality while artificial intelligence wages a war against them. Neo is chosen to break through the illusion and save humanity. He trains by fighting agents in the Matrix and eventually assembles a team to rescue him when he is betrayed. They defeat the agent, but Neo is injured and enters a coma. He is able to leave the Matrix when he is visited by an oracle. The oracle tells Neo he is the one and that he must find the keymaker to access the Matrix mainframe. Neo is visited by Smith, who has learned to copy himself. Neo defeats Smith, but is ultimately betrayed by him again.
