This video explains how to set up a Pioneer device for HID control with Traktor Pro 2 or 3. In order to enable the advanced hid mode on the CDJ 900 and 2000, press and hold the Menu button to enter the utility settings. Scroll down to the HID setting and set it to Advanced. Then exit the utility settings by pressing Menu again. Press the Link button and push down the encoder to activate the USB midi control mode. Turn the encoder to enter the tractor deck selection. Choose one of Traktor's 4 decks to be controlled from your device by highlighting it and pushing down the encoder. Your Pioneer device will now control the tractor deck
