A family is visited by an alien who tells them that their son, who they thought was dead, is actually alive and being held in a secret government facility. The family is initially skeptical, but is eventually convinced by the alien's supernatural powers.

The man is worried about what he may have done to offend Him and, three weeks later, the cow has died. The man wonders if he is going to be punished and is disturbed by the thoughts. He goes to the gas station and finds that the pump is busted, so he has to fill up his car with diesel. He reflects on his life and how he wants to do good but feels that he is not living right.
