The protagonist is talking to one of his chums online, who is asking him about his day and whether he has seen any good movies recently. The protagonist has not done anything noteworthy today, and has not seen any of the movies that his chum has mentioned. The chum then asks if the protagonist is ready to log jam, and the protagonist responds that he isn't quite ready to do that.

• 00:00:00 The protagonist's computer alerts him that someone is trying to communicate with him. He goes to the computer and sees that one of his chums has logged in. The chum asks him what happened today, and the protagonist responds that he didn't do anything noteworthy. The chum asks if the protagonist has seen a movie called Little Monster, and the protagonist responds that he hasn't. The chum asks if the protagonist has seen a movie called Daley's of Harassment, and the protagonist responds that he hasn't. The chum asks the protagonist if he has seen a movie called The Colonel's Bottomless Wisdom, and the protagonist responds that he hasn't. The chum asks the protagonist if he is ready to log jam, and the protagonist responds that he isn't quite ready to do that.
• 00:05:00 The protagonist is reading through a book on data structures, and finds that he should have paid more attention to them in his past. He then goes on to talk about how he has a hammer but it's trapped under arms, which he sarcastically calls an "amusement" to himself. He then goes on to talk about how the cards present convenience in some ways, though he notes that it would be much more practical if they were heavier.
